IICRC Certification

IICRC CertifiedThe Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is the organization that sets the standards for the restoration industry and certifies our technicians. Listed below are some of our primary certifications.

Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)


Technicians learn how residential and commercial structures are affected by the destructive power of water in emergency situations. The art of drying is emphasized so the student understands and can use the proper procedures to stop and remediate severe backflows, flooding and contamination.

Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)


This course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques for individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates are adequately equipped to perform remediation services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.

Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD)


This course is designed to teach the effective, efficient and timely drying of water-damaged structures and contents, using comprehensive classroom and hands-on training, in order to facilitate appropriate decision making within a restorative drying environment.

Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)


This course is designed to teach the art and science of carpet cleaning and emphasizes practical application. Technicians learn to identify fiber, yarn and carpet constructions, determine style types and finishes, and evaluate soiling conditions. The course covers pre-inspection, fabric identification, basic cleaning chemicals and equipment, and proper cleaning techniques and procedures with a residential and light commercial emphasis.

Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT)


This course concentrates on technical procedure for successfully completing the restoration of a fire and smoke damaged environment. Technicians learn how to combine technical procedures with a practical approach to managing the job site.

Odor Control Technician (OCT)


Technicians learn how to address odors caused from biological sources (such as decomposition, urine contamination, and mold), combustion sources (such as fire and smoke damage), and chemical sources (such as fuel oil spills or volatile organic chemicals).

Upholstery and Fabric Cleaning Technician (UFT)


Technicians learn all about the fibers and fabrics used in upholstery as well as the chemistry of cleaning and upholstery cleaning methods so that one can identify limitations and potential cleaning related problems on a given piece of upholstery.
